Junior Project Manager

Location: UK-wide

Salary: £25,000 to £32,000, 8% employer pension contribution, private healthcare, SME flexibility

We require a Junior PM to join our team with a view of upskilling them into a PM role to deliver for our clients. This role is ideal for people interested in joining the rail industry and/or Project Management who lack rail expertise and come from outside the industry.

The role essentially comprises a 60:40 split between Project Management activities/training and internal RPS matters to help the Managing Director support our growing business.

As this is a training role, a significant proportion of time would need to be spent at the RPS office in Leicestershire or our Clients’ offices who are mostly Birmingham based. There are very few SME rail consultancies with clients that include both asset management (Network Rail) and railway operational (WMT) demands and as such this is a great learning opportunity for any aspiring railway PM.

With this role comes funded project management training including by the Association of Project Management and bespoke railway training opportunities. Most importantly, we are looking for a motivated self-starter who is keen to contribute to a growing SME start-up in our industry.
